03/30/2005: NULS Strolling...
Here is a link for Len's Chicago Stroll Down Memory Lane NULS.wmv (1543k file) and our family walking tour of North Western University School of Law (and views therebouts, plus a few extra Downtown pictures.) The views are a bit out of order, since I’m still trying to decipher how Photoshop works. But I was able to get to make this slide-show and upload it –quite a feat for a techno-weenie – if I do say so myself. LOL
This first picture is a view of the New NU Medical School that is being built with a view of the old Medical School on the far left. Law School is off to the left (East towards the Lake Michigan from the medical school.)
2: A view of the Chicago River with one of its many bridges in the Open/UP position.
3: Looking towards Chicago Board of Trade Building. Statue is due to get a “face” because at the time of it’s creation no one imagined any buildings could ever be tall enough for anyone to see there were no features on the figure’s face.
4: The Water Tower: One of the few stone structures to survive the Great Chicago Fire.
5: Upper Wacker Drive looking East toward the Tribune Building over the Chicago River.
6: Marina Towers Twin Towers Parking Garage.
7: Entrance to the older section of the School of Law.
8: Lincoln Hall (one view)
9: Lincoln Hall (opposite view)
10: Law School Library – Center stairs.
11: Lecture Hall (Bennett’s Contract Class?)
12: 4th Floor Library Study (sleeping?) area overlooking Navy Pier & Olive Park.
13: NU Atrium Entrance.
14: View of Lake Shore Drive and Navy Pier (Ferris Wheel and Attractions.)
15: The Arthur Rubloff Building and entrance (to Atrium.)
16: A view of the Law School block. Older section and Newer Building
