05/30/2004: Catching up with some of the Rocky Top Brigade....
I notice that Janet Dagley Dagley was in attendance at Al Gore's NYU speech last week, and she gives us her impressions here. I rather liked this line myself:
In a one-hour sermon on the subject of Iraq, Gore used his full dynamic range, from a hoarse whisper to a top-of-the-lungs shout that left crying babies in its wake. Bland? Wooden? Not this Al Gore. It appears that Bob Dole syndrome -- boring-until-out-of-office -- is an equal-opportunity affliction. But the whole synopsis is worth reading; check it out.
