05/18/2004: More sad news....
First Alan King. Now we hear that actor Tony Randall is dead at the age of 84. An urbane and very witty man, Randall will most certainly be missed. And frankly, I'm not going to argue with his taste:
In September, during a speech to the National Funeral Directors Association, Randall joked about how he envisioned his own ceremony: President Bush and Vice President Cheney would show up to pay their respects, but they'd be turned away because his family knows he didn't like them.I wonder if Bush or Cheney will make any official notice of Randall's death.
