They give us a list of 10 things to watch in the Cards farm clubs in 2005. I'll give the list here; go read the whole piece, which includes a paragraph of analysis for each item:
1. Anthony Reyes’ Continuous Development.
2. Adam Wainwright’s health.
3. Brad Thompson’s Development of Third Pitch.
4. Blake Hawksworth’s health.
5. Cody Haerther’s health.
6. Juan Lucena’s Development.
7. Mike Ferris’ Development.
8. Brandon Yarbrough’s Development.
9. Brandon DeJaynes’ Control.
10. Jose Martinez’s Development.
And a bonus 11th item (not on the list though), the Cards apparently signed a 16 year old Colombian shortstop, Donovan Solano, who is, according to reports, even better than Edgar Renteria was at the same age. Donovan's been invited to spring training, so those of you making the trek to Jupiter this fall might want to be looking for him. According to Cardinal Nation, if Donovan doesn't make Johnson City this season he'll play in the Dominican Summer League.
