Dark Bilious Vapors

But how could I deny that I possess these hands and this body, and withal escape being classed with persons in a state of insanity, whose brains are so disordered and clouded by dark bilious vapors....

08/01/2004: This is really a self-centered blog post....

but some of you might enjoy it. The reason it's self-centered is that I want to hyperlink this for my own purposes (sort of a bookmark I'm sharing with the rest of the world):

The Complete "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?" List (the reference, if you don't catch it, is to "Pinky and the Brain".)

I think that the networks would see major jumps in audience if, instead of not broadcasting the Republican convention, the broadcast a Pinky and the Brain retrospective. I don't think many people would notice, and those that did will approve.

If they did a "Pinky and the Brain" retrospective in lieu of the Republican National Product Launch, I'd watch (I didn't watch any of the DNC and I'm certainly not going to waste valuable hours of my life watching the "George W. Bush Love-fest", either).

Well, as long as it was strictly "Pinky and the Brain" and they didn't bring in the putrescent "Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain" successor. The perpetrator of that crime against humanity ought to be drawn to pieces by wild horses... or maybe not; that might not be painful enough.
