07/19/2004: Hey, I'll sympathize with him....
From fawning Bush sycophant Elizabeth Bumiller we learn that the President is being inconvenienced--those damned inconsiderate Democrats, by not conceding him the election, are causing Poor Georgie to miss his precious vacation.
But this year, the 2004 campaign has ruined Mr. Bush's Texas vacation. Or put another way, if Mr. Bush doesn't give up a lot of his summer holiday, the fear at the White House is that he could be on a permanent one after the first of the year.The real shame, in my opinion, is that we have to wait until January to give Bush his permanent vacation.

You know, I kinda feel sorry for him. I mean, after being able to stay on vacation when he got a memo that said "Bin Laden Determined to Attack in US", a certain level of expectation would have been set. To have that mean old Karl Rove come and tell him that he cannot stay on vacation just because he is losing the election must be hard to take. I mean, really, what's more important: imminent terrorist attack or a lousy election?
