06/03/2004: Tenet is out....
(just heard that on The O'Franken Factor, so I don't have a news link handy. I may add one later, if I feel like it. Supposedly Tenet resigned "for personal reasons", "to spend more time with his family", etc.--the standard rationale for someone who's pressured out in lieu of being fired, or who's just decided he's in an untenable situation.
Which makes me wonder which it is? Pressured out, or just got sick and tired of dealing with the job any longer?
Also.... Considering all the crap that Al Gore's gotten from the wingnuts over his recent New York speech, notice that one of the "suggestions" Al made was a call for Tenet's resignation.
